Campaign Bugsplat Company of Heroes 2: A Frustrating Experience

As a fan of the original Company of Heroes, I was excited to dive into the campaign mode of its sequel, Company of Heroes 2. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment and frustration as I encountered numerous issues that left me feeling cheated.

Playing on standard difficulty, which is supposed to be an 'average' or 'normal' setting, I found myself facing an AI that was anything but fair. The enemy units seemed to have a sixth sense for attacking my base, and before I knew it, they had wiped out all of my units in mere minutes. It was like playing a game of RISK, where the AI is always one step ahead.

What I was expecting was a story-driven campaign similar to the Soviet campaign in the original CoH. Instead, I got a watered-down experience that lacked depth and substance. The inclusion of the U.S. faction, which I had heard was going to be part of the game, only added to my disappointment.

To make matters worse, I encountered a bug that caused the game to crash repeatedly, resulting in lost progress and wasted time. Despite trying various solutions and troubleshooting methods, the issue persisted, leaving me feeling helpless and frustrated.

In an attempt to resolve the problem, I contacted SEGA and Steam, but their responses were unhelpful and unsatisfactory. I was told that if I wanted a refund, I would need to contact the retailer, which is not a viable option for me since I purchased the game digitally.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience I have had with Company of Heroes 2 so far. As someone who has paid good money for the game and has been waiting eagerly for its release, I expect a certain level of quality and stability. Unfortunately, my experience has fallen short of those expectations.

I hope that SEGA and Steam can take steps to address the issues I have encountered and provide a better experience for their customers. Until then, I will continue to struggle with the bugs and glitches that plague this game.
